DRESS REHEARSAL - Friday, June 8th at Oliver Ames High School Auditorium
We will be running dress rehearsal in order of our recitals this year (**with the exception of a few dances and we will notify them when to arrive).
11am show dancers - should arrive by 3:30pm and we will begin rehearsal no later than 4pm.
3:30pm show dancers - should arrive by 5:30 and we will begin rehearsal at approximately 6:00pm.
We will not wait for dancers who are late arriving. Please do your best to be on time and ready to dance so that we can keep things moving. There is nothing better than a dress rehearsal that runs ahead of schedule!! We will send out a separate dress rehearsal sheet when it gets closer with more specific times.
Students should come dressed in their first costume and bring all other costumes and dance shoes.
**Dancers should go directly to cafeteria (dressing room) when arriving. Dancers are not allowed in the auditorium in their full costumes. We will line dancers up just as we do for recital in the back hallway. If dancers have a big break in between their dances, they should go into the auditorium to watch other dances. **We would like to keep the amount of people in the cafeteria and backstage area to a minimum. Once your child is lined up backstage at the wall, parents should head back into the auditorium to watch. You can meet them in the cafeteria after they dance. Parents should bring dancers backstage a few dances before their scheduled dance. They either need to be covered with a big shirt or robe or not dressed in their costume while in the auditorium. Dancers will absolutely not be allowed to change or do make-up in the auditorium. Dancers and parents will not be allowed to stand at the front of the stage as it is distracting to the dancers and teachers. Any pictures or video taking will need to be taken from further back. Please try not to bring siblings or young children who are not in the performance to the Dress Rehearsal.
NO VIDEO TAPING WILL BE ALLOWED DURING THE RECITAL ON SATURDAY.
**THIS IS A FULL DRESS REHEARSAL!! HAIR (BUNS) & MAKE-UP MUST BE WORN SAME AS IN RECITAL!! Absolutely no underwear is to be worn under costumes!!

Volunteers need to arrive the day of recital at least 45 minutes before their show time. Please sign up on the sheets at the studio if you are interested. You MUST be available to stay for the entire recital in the dressing room (other than pre-school).
